Prodigy is our broad combat pick; Arcane Spark is our caster pick. Survivor, Iron Soul and Keen Eye solve different problems. Keep Quick Study for leveling and Fortune’s Favor for farming instead of judging them only by a combat tier.
S is a first recommendation for the stated job. A is a strong role match. B needs a more specific goal or extra support. These are our editorial choices based on the linked skill descriptions and walkthroughs. Compare within a stage, with similar gear and the listed skills unlocked.
All seven Talents: effects and best use
Prodigy
Attack, Magic, Defense and maximum HP +5%; critical chance +2%; XP and Mastery +10%.
- Best use
- General combat
- Pair it with
- Any class; broad offense and defense
Keep it if you roll it. Do not spend your full budget chasing the 1% chance.
Arcane Spark
Start each battle with +1 Energy; Magic +8%.
- Best use
- Caster opening turn
- Pair it with
- Mage or Bard with an Energy-heavy opener
Prefer it when the extra starting Energy lets you use the skill you need immediately.
Fortune’s Favor
Gold +10%, loot +8%, jackpot chance +2%.
- Best use
- Gold and loot farming
- Pair it with
- Goblin on a route you already clear
Our S-priority farming choice. Keep survival gear so the reward bonus applies to completed runs.
Quick Study
XP +12%; Class Mastery +15%.
- Best use
- XP and Mastery farming
- Pair it with
- Any unfinished class route; Human for progression
Our S-priority choice for leveling. Swap only after progression bonuses stop helping your current goal.
Iron Soul
Defense +6%; 30% chance to ignore a debuff.
- Best use
- Disruptive enemy debuffs
- Pair it with
- Frontline builds and status-heavy routes
Use it when debuffs interrupt your plan. The ignore chance is not immunity.
Survivor
Maximum HP +6%. Once per battle, a lethal hit leaves 1 HP if HP was above 20%.
- Best use
- Learning and difficult solo runs
- Pair it with
- A damage route with Renewal or Second Breath
Keep while failed defenses cost Lives. Its lethal-hit protection needs HP above 20% and works once per battle.
Keen Eye
Critical chance +5%; dodge +2%.
- Best use
- Critical offense
- Pair it with
- Deadeye or Assassin with a recovery plan
A useful common roll. Its crit and dodge bonuses are separate from the Archer passive named Keen Eye.
Prodigy or Arcane Spark?
Choose Prodigy when several parts of your build benefit from its broad stat package. Choose Arcane Spark when a caster needs the extra starting Energy and Magic to make the opening action work. The useful comparison is the next two actions you can afford, not the rarity color.
Survivor or Iron Soul?
Choose Survivor when a failed defense is costing a Life and you can heal after its one-time protection triggers. Choose Iron Soul when repeated debuffs interrupt the whole run. Neither replaces timing practice, and Iron Soul’s debuff-ignore chance is not guaranteed protection.
When should you reroll?
- Write down the problem: damage, resources, survival, XP or loot.
- Keep a Talent that directly helps that problem while you improve the rest of the build.
- Redeem Talent Spin codes, then set a budget. A missed roll does not make the next result certain.
- Change the recommendation when the goal changes. Quick Study loses its purpose after the milestones you were farming are complete.
