Which class should a beginner choose?
Our first-character recommendation is Warrior for a straightforward physical kit and a defensive opening passive. Archer is worth considering if you prefer ranged attacks. Mage and Bard make more sense when you have chosen a magic or party-support role.

Questions players ask
Are there six or seven base classes?
The current official title highlights Spear. This directory covers seven base classes, with 21 Super branches. Older six-class guides omit Spear.
Can I change a Super class later?
The Super choice is permanent for that hero. A Sigil advances the selected branch; start another hero to choose a different base class.
