The Seraph race protects the party at battle start: 10% less damage taken and 25% more healing received for two turns. It is our specialist pick when the opening rounds put the whole team under pressure.
Our Seraph build
Pair Seraph with Minstrel → Songweaver when you want a dedicated party healer. Arcane Spark and Wellspring support opening Energy; an Avian with Energy Heal can help with later casts. Use the racial opening window to stabilize the team while teammates handle damage.
Plan this Seraph build →Make the racial effect count
- Check whether the party needs healing before choosing Minstrel; Siren and Pianist have different, offensive Bard kits.
- Keep Energy for the recovery action after your opener.
- Use the two-turn protection window deliberately when the enemy opening is the hardest part.
- After that window, rely on your class, Oath, pet and armor plan rather than assuming the racial opening effect lasts all battle.
Seraph Heirloom and Heartblood locations
Use the Heirloom for the first race evolution, then collect Heartblood for later stages. Match both the race name and material type before buying or farming.

Choose Seraph for a team that benefits from early protection and stronger healing. For a solo caster, compare Vesper’s resource-oriented bonuses or Celestine’s Magic and crit package. Tideborn is a more direct choice when your own repeated recovery is the goal.
Compare all 15 race recommendations →Is Seraph the race the same as Seraph the Ultra?
They are separate systems. Seraph the race comes from Race Spins. Seraph the Mage Ultra follows Mage → Cleric → Seraph and uses that class’s Sigil and Tomes. Rolling the race does not unlock the Ultra.
